An unobtrusive, unremarkable building in a quiet neighbourhood. Few shops and restaurants (two pizza joints and a Greek). Central Karlsruhe is not too far away, though. The hotel's parking place is ample, which is excellent, as the inhabitants of the quarter seem pretty uptight about parking. A small lobby adjoining a large bar/breakfast room. The lift is clunky. It feels...

We stayed for one night on our way to Switserland. Because we arrived around 23:30h, the reception was already closed. There was a phone to call a staff member who gave you the access code to get your room key. This process was really convenient. The room itself was big, beds were incredibly comfortable. There was a good shower. The...

Stayed one night at Hotel Maurer, Karlsruhe on our way to Black Forest.. The hotel is situated on a quiet location close to the town centre.. If you are taking public transport then the tram station is literally a minute walk from the hotel.. It's a very nice and well maintained hotel.. Key USPs are the staff and the service.....

Very Clean, comfortable, cheap, good service, safe parking. And super quiet. Had a room where all 4 of us slept comfortably. Good wifi so kids were content. All in all very happy. Good choice and would definitely choose again.

Upon arrival the exterior of the hotel and grounds gave us the feeling we had booked ourselves into a dodgy hotel. The building could do with some TLC and updating. Checking in was done fast and we were up to our room in no time. The room itself was fine, no problems there at all especially for the price. The...

My family stayed in the hotel as a stop-over for a road trip. As a family of four, we selected a 4-bed room. Check-in was great and the person at the front desk was very kind. Upon arrival to the room, I noticed that the trash in the bathroom was completely full. Gross, but I assumed it was an oversight....

My mother and father stayed in Hotel Maurer when they visited me in Karlsruhe (my flat is too small for visitors) and they've asked me to leave a review on their behalf. They thought the rooms were really excellent: clean, pleasant, attractive and unfussy. Apparently the box spring beds made for some of the best night's sleep they've ever had!...

Hi Kate Thanks for the great review and it was a pleasure having your parents stay with us for the duration of their visit. I am really glad to hear they had a quiet and comfortable break and look forward to them visiting us again in the near future when we will have hopefully worked on the outside as well....

After reading good reviews about this property, we decided to give it a try. The rooms have just been renovated, this is true, however, the bedding was stained and had hairs on it!! The WiFi never worked, which was a huge problem for us. The walls were so thin you could hear the person in the next room breathing. We...

Very clean, welcoming and just a few steps from the tramway station. The best is the calm amd comfort for a well-needed sleep after a day in the city. It i just 5 stations from the center, which is a 10 minute ride with the tramway. The terrace is great and spacious, there is a supermarket just a few blocks...
