The most unfriendly personnel I have met for as long time as I can remember. Me and 2 colleagues were laughing together, how all 5 member of staff we met, were like been on same course of "How to not behave with customers". In 2 out of 3 rooms were tobacco smell sucked even into pillows - rooms were "smoke...

Location is horrible, you need 15-20 euros to commute to Stuttgart center via this busy long tunnel, makes minimum 30 euros cab a day. A depressing supermarket at walking distance. No wifi, only German TV on the smallest screen I have ever seen in my life. No food at the hotel, only a Spanish restaurant 5 minutes and Italian 10...

Our second stay at the Hotel Astoria am Urachplatz did not disappoint. The hotel, since our last stay has had some renovations done to maintain its high standard. The staff, especially the font desk and breakfast host are excellent. Friendly and very helpful. The location is quite but with easy access to to buses, restaurants and shops. The city center...

This is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. I have travelled the world and am usually rather laid back, but this hotel was crap. Came for a business trip at last minute notice. This was the only hotel available. Booked for 3 weeks. You have to pay on arrival because once you see the rooms, you'll want...

Old furnished rooms, poor wifi signal in rooms, to expensive for what they are offering. I would not recommend to pay for breakfast since you can get something better for the same price. I have been guest of this hotel for 2 weeks but only because it was the only one available.

This was the last room you could possibly get in Stuttgart that night. There was a congress going on and several other events in the city at that time. So this night they got a lot of referrals from other hotels. I got the last room they had. The receptionist was not unfriendly. Ok, the guy did not say hello...,...

I'm not going to sugarcoat this. This is probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Checking in: Our receptionist was very slow to handle the check-ins and not very friendly. You have to pay on arrival because once you see the rooms, you'll want to leave ASAP and never return. Rooms: the room I was staying at was in...

The hotel is in a location far away from anything to do in Stuttgart, the reception is stiff and you search for friendliness in vain. Rooms are big but basic and some furniture has seen better days, the can tell stories from long times gone.

Booked this with friends when visiting cannstatter Volksfest as it is halfway between the festival site and the centre. It is a bit out of the way and in a very hilly area if you are walking though. Quiet, basic and comfortable would be my description. The rooms could do with a bit of modernisation but are clean and spacious....
