Hotel was easy to find and a good location for hiking up to Partnach gorge, diving down to Königshaus am Schachen, and only a short walk through nice suburbs into town following the river. The room was rustic and comfy, with everything you'd expect in a modern hotel. Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and spoke English. Plus...

This hotel has a nice location right in front of the famous ski jump. On the other side you can see the beautiful alpine fields and the river Partnach is near as well. On the other side, because it's so peaceful and nice, it's away from the town and train station. Room was very good. They have rooms on the...

Stay here for two nights. The room was clean and nicely furnished. Staff spoke enough English to get by. The hotel was built in 1936 to facilitate the winter Olympic games so as you look out from the restaurant you can see the chair lifts and ski jump slope which adds character to the place. We tried to eat the...

My wife and I stayed at the Olympiahaus at the beginning of February this year. The room that we had was absolutely huge and had a fabulous view of the Olympic Stadium built for the 1936 Winter Olympics. The staff were generally very accommodating. We ate out both nights that we were there so cannot comment on the quality of...

Room was very big and balcony is just to ski jumps. There was no any fridge but it was cold so we keep our snack and drinks at balcony. There was no snow at the nearest mountain and they will not make snow with machines. Still it was nice ride to up that mountain, the skilift was very historical. From...

Fantastic view of the ski jumps. We stayed in a very sizable apartment with three rooms and one bathroom. Dinner in the restaurant as well as the breakfast were very good given the rating of the hotel. No problems checking in at the restaurant.

Yes, it is true that this hotel is part of the 'old' Olympic Stadium, but this is where the nostalgia finishes The interior decor looks as though it may have been done in time for the last Olympics, with ill fitting windows and very basic room furniture. The breakfast was average, at best, and although the bar food is ok,...

My family of four stayed in this hotel in early October. This is a very popular location, what with the attraction of the ski jump and old olympic stadium, which has seen better days, though the ski jumps themselves are world class and used for practice and major jump meets during the ski season. We stayed in the large family...

What a great hotel to stay in.... We stopped here on route from Munich to Verona and we were really impressed. Although we stayed in the summer, the views of the slopes and ski jumps are still magnificent. We booked a family room with a balcony and the gasps from my children when we entered the huge room made the...

Location can be interesting, just beside the famous ski jumps - our room was in front of the facilities, but since we were on summer, no activities were being played. On the other hand, if you want to go Garmisch-Partenkirchen you may have to take the car (or the bus, 1 every hour, or going by wak, 15-20 minutes). Facilities...
