The rooms were very cute, the radiators never quite heated the room but they did take off the chill. Pets allowed which is a huge bonus. The drive to the hotel is kind of fun, the parking is free, and the views from most of the rooms, and especially the terrace, were amazing.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The views are amazing and the staff are very nice. There is free parking and it's about a 10-15 minute walk into town. Upon arrival it was a Monday which is a quiet day for them meaning there are no staff. There was a note on the door stating that each persons key is...

This hotel offers everything what you need in Garnisch-Partenkirchen. Fresh air, ideal panorama of mountains, silence, good breakfast, free parking, access to nature. It is not in the center, so you need a car. Also there is only hotel, so you need to eat in hotel restaurant or go to the city. Hotel is not very modern, but you expect...

Fairly difficult to find even with a sat nav because we couldn't believe we would make it up the little sleep road past several stone monuments, a church and then into the carpark. You can't see this place from the bottom of the hill so we had to just very carefully drive to the top - i would have hated...

This is a hotel "away from it all" with a nice view to the mountains and over Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The breakfast (for additional cost) was very good and there were many choices. It was advertised to have scrambled eggs or fried eggs, but when we got there we found only boiled eggs. Not until it was too late did we learn...

Arrived very late, my room was already taken as we couldn't find anybody so I had to take the last key from the deposit box and was lucky enough that the person booking the room did not show up. Can't magine what would have happened had he just shown up.... The room is average with a minuscule bathroom and a...

9 of us, with 9 bikes were on the start of a motorcycling holiday and stayed here for a night in May. It is a bit outside the town, up a hill, near the cable car station, and through a cow pasture. In the morning, the sound of dozens of cow bells gives the authentic alpine sound experience. If you...

I chose this hotel because of its location above Garmisch-Partenkirchen. I last visited this resort in 1957 - staying in the Youth Hostel and this time,56 years later, I wanted more comfort. My wife and I found it homely, typical Bavarian in style and decor. Very comfortable beds situated in large room with good sized bathroom and double aspect balcony....

As a first time visitor to Europe this was a truly wonderful experience. Yes checking in was a slight challenge. Going to the bar to locate manager and the room on the third floor was a challenge with suitcases. That just added to the charm. Wonderful views of Garmish, The Olympic ski jump and Alps. You can sit on your...

We stayed here for a couple nights in September, the view from the restaurant and rooms is nice, but the service was just OK. The location is a little on the outside of town, but if you have a car it is fine. Be aware, you will drive through cow pasture.
