My sister and I stayed at this hotel for one night in order to visit the Neuschwanstein castle. We were upgraded to a superior room which was large and modern. The location is incredible and gives easy access to visiting the castles, even to the...More
Can't say enough about this place. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. View of castle from room is added bonus. Elevator was out, but staff will bring luggage to/from your room. Nice amenities. Conveinant to everything.
The hotel is quite old and almost no facilities. However, if you are going to visit Neuschwanstein Castle, this is almost the best hotel. Carpark is just outside the hotel (free of charge). The carriage to the Castle is near the door of the hotel....More
The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. They were very aware that we were going to be touring the castle and were excellent at providing quick but wonderful service. I had the goulash soup which was very tasty.

Hi, I'm planning to stay in December for a special occasion and ideally want to book a room with an outside area overlooking Neuschwanstein Castle. I'm finding the descriptions of the loggia/balocy/terraces a little confusing. Which room would be best for having a balcony like outside space overlooking the castle? Would it be the Superior Double Room or the Deluxe Suite?
Thanks for your help.
