Fantastic location for our quick tour of Munich. We were there 2 nights but we saw so much it felt like a week. Great Market and Beer Garden with the best atmosphere I have ever seen anywhere. We ate every type of food from Italian to Greek and of course German. People were so friendly both tourists and locals. We... More

Location is very convenient, everything is within 5 minutes walking. Situated next to the old food market and near Marienplatz (central area of Munich). The rooms are very woodsy and basic but confortable, clean and spacious (I rent a room with two beds). I would stay there again.

Let me begin by saying that I rarely ever score businesses below 3, but I want to be honest. The location of this hotel is outstanding--right next to an open air market and beer garden and strolling distance to all Old Town sites. But the hotel rooms are the most sparse of any we visited in this part of Europe.... More

This is a nice hotel, located just minutes walk to all the great spots. Having traveled to Germany many times and understanding German culture, some people (Americans) mistaken the forward nature of German people as rude, when in fact they are not. With that being said, the receptionist at the front was in fact rude. I'll just leave it at... More

Location is very convenient, everything is within 4-5 minutes. It sits right on Viktualienmarkt, 1 minute to Marienplatz, where you can see old Town Hall (Neus Hall). In between hotel and Marienplatz there is an old Town Hall ( which was completely bombed in 1945) and rebuilt. Right next to Marienplatz visit Fraunkirche and St. Peter's Church (climb to the... This place had the most amazing location for getting around Munich and the exterior of the building is divine. The rooms are very woodsy and don't quite match the exterior but the room was clean and spacious and honestly I thought for the price it was good value. We would definitely stay here again...

Situated next to the old food market and near Marienplatz this is an ideal hotel for exploring the central area of Munich. The room was fairly basic but the bed and pillows were comfortable and the shower was excellent in the roomy en suite. There were a few negatives. Throughout our stay the lift was out of order and anyone... More

Only thing good is location. But this does not compensate for all of the problems at this place. It starts when you check in. The front desk people, in particular Jessica, are rude, untrained and miserable towards hotel guests. The Wifi is very spotty, the rooms are tiny, the shower is so small that it is unusable, the beds are... More

This is a quaint little boutique type hotel in the center of Munich. It is very cute on the outside and serviceable inside. The lobby is small and the rooms are decent, but it is a great price for the location. It is immediately next to the Viktualienmarkt and a very quick walk to Marienplatz. Hofbrauhaus, Residenz, and the English... More

I stayed for one night for a business trip. The location is great, the Viktualienmarkt and public transport is right around the corner. The service was okay, breakfast good. But my room was tiny and quit old. One plus point was the bathroom, which was newly renovated. The lift was broken when we stayed here. It was rather loud due... More
