A good relatively small hotel just near the Hauptbahnhof (Central Railway Station). Easy to get from the Airport by direct suburban S-Bahn train running every 10 minutes (some 45 minutes' ride). A 10-15 minutes' walk to the old town of Munich, as well as to "Pinakothek" and "Glyptothek" Museums. Many eateries of different style both in the neighbouring streets and...

Very good for this price. Very central, the hotel is near Hauptbahnfof and it's really comfortable for travelers. Stuff is friendly, always ready to help. And they have rooms for smokers. I took breakfast in the hotel, it was simple, but hearty

A nice play to stay as its newr the station but too many bars and strip clubs in the vicinity.. Try to take upper rooms as its on busy street.. We reached munich without booking and there was a festival going on..so we got a room at very high premium.. not matching the facilities. . However the staff was extremely...

If your looking for a quiet, beautiful modern hotel then this might not work for you but it was exactly what I was looking for. The location was perfect for Oktoberfest, right in the middle of the city only 5-10 minute walk from the main entrance. I had a reasonably comfy single bed with everything I needed and most importantly...

You have to kind of forget the area you walk through to get to this hotel. Over the years it has got a little worse but is natural for a hotel so close to the main station in Munich. Many of the hotels and the area look similar but this hotel has a fantastic family feel and atmosphere. They make...

I was warmly surprised by the hotel as when I booked for Oktoberfest there weren’t many single room options left in this area. The reception was very welcoming and open 24/7. Whilst some reviews said it was in a dodgy area, I didn’t feel in any way scared at any time and it was a very central location, smack bang...

We were nervous reading reviews about the neighborhood but there is some of this in every city center. For the most part it didn't bother us. My biggest fear was noise but very quiet at night! We had a courtyard room (3rd floor) stayed 7 nights (even the weekend during Oktoberfest was quiet). Breakfast was varied and plentiful! No pool,...

Munich is not the least expensive city in Europe in terms of hotels. I have been there several times (first in 1968!) and speak from experience. I needed one near the station so that I could get to the airport for an early flight. The Ambiente proved perfect for this, though I will say that for some the location may...

Hotel is close to the Station and very well located. Indian Restaurant is just across the Street. The major problem is the Pillow. It looks really thick and nice but just deflates when you try to rest your head. Highly uncomfortable and impossible to sleep. even if you use 2 pillows, the end result is the same. Breakfast is about...

Near central station, underground exit, tram and bus. Perfect to go around munich or day trip by train. 10 minutes walk to marienplatz. A lot of resto, shops, mall and supermarket nearby. The room is spacious for single and super clean. As others say, a lot of people standing in group, smoking on street.
