It took a lot of time and research to find a hotel in Munich that met our criteria, and besides Paris, this destination was the trickiest for suitable, reasonably priced accommodation. This hotel met our needs on all levels and exceeded our expectations...here is why. This hotel is close to the train station, and yet easy walking to the Marienplatz....

We ended up staying here as our planned accommodation fell through at the last minute. Staff were very helpful abd because the check in took a little longer because we just turned up, we were given a complimentary drink at the bar. Rooms are comfortable. We had one that looked out on the court yard and it was very quiet....

I was concerned about the location having read other reviews and, yes, it is a bit seedy but no worse than any other city centre. The hotel is lovey and the staff are very helpful. There are little touches that make your stay a bit special - the welcome drink in the bar, the free bottled drinks in the minibar...

It was another excellent stay at the mercure. We have been coming back for years now and this was our 5th visit to the hotel. I enjoy the room size, location and the beds are lovely. Wifi is good, and fast which is a plus! Price is also not very expensive considering that it is better than most hotels around....

As previouse reviewers have stated, the location may not seem to be in the most prestigious area of the City but looks can be very deceptive. Located close to the Hauptbahnhof and just a short and easy walk to Karlsplatz and Marienplatz. Inside, the hotel is extremely welcoming and staff are very helpful. Excellent rooms and a host of perks,...

We would defiantly stay again. Located only a few minutes flat walk from Munich Main Hbf. This hotel has thoughtful lively design with excellent amenities. We stayed 3 nights in a 6th floor double. The room was large, well appointed, very quiet, plenty of space for luggage, all necessary bathroom amenities and a free limited mini bar that is restocked...

I went to Munich with a collegue to visit one of our suppliers + they also invited us for the match Bayern - Lille. This hotel is located near the central station which was easy and handy for us. Also the rooms are great and spacious.

Don't be put off by the location of this hotel. It's on a small street almost directly across from the city's main train station along with quite a few hostels. It's rated as 4 stars and should be. The accommodation was comfortable, modern, and very clean. The breakfast buffet offered a really good assortment, and the staff was extremely helpful....
