4 middle aged men (not lager louts) stayed 2 nights in this ideal B&B. 3 stars about right - ceratinly no more.....staff on reception typical sullen germans but functional. We booked 4 single beds in a large family room ...perfect for our needs. Hotel very quiet neighbourhood in the turkish district. Surprisingly pretty limited choice of restaurants nearby. We went...

Stayed here as part of a package trip visiting the Christmas Market. It was snowing and quite cold, so the warm and relatively spacious room was very welcome, when you returned at night. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was a good continental standard. The staff were all attentive and helpful. The hotel is located in a Turkish area, with...

Visiting Munich for its Christmas Market, all hotels we were looking at were booked. We were pleasantly surprised that this gem was available -- an easy 3 blocks from Munich Central Station, the hotel was easy to find even after having arrived at 1am (the area does have some strip bars, but they are not 'in your face'. We felt...

My husband and I travelled here with friends to visit the Christmas markets. The room was basic but perfectly adequate for everything we needed. It was typical Bavarian design. The beds were very comfortable and verythe room warm. Breakfast is very good. It was replenished regularly with wonderful German breads, chesses, meats and jams. There was even a type of...

I've stayed twice at the Brunnenhof. Once I went as a chaperone for my middle school students (for a 3 day field trip), and recently with my husband and 2 children (ages 11 and 7). It is clean, has huge family rooms, great breakfast, gated parking, near the center. Great value-should be a 4 star!

Given a large room with an extra bed, which we don't need. The area is predominantly Turkish, but we have had no problems coming and going, despite the presence of nightclubs and cabarets. Would have loved it closer to the Hauptbahnhof as we are lugging 2 suitcases from there, but it is manageable. As we arrived at the tail end...

I stayed at Hotel Brunnenhof when I first arrived in Germany with my school group, so needless to say we were in need of good food and good sleep. Hotel Brunnenhof provided the basics of furniture, bedding and cleanliness. The hotel room was spacious, as was the bathroom. As I mentioned, the bathroom and room were clean however furniture in...

We booked at the last minute so I was skeptical as to why there were rooms left at this hotel. It is in an "okay" location of the city. There are a couple strip clubs in the area and sometimes people hanging around outside at night, but during the day it is fine. There are lots of good restaurants in...

We stayed at the Brunnenhof for ten days in 2009 as we toured the Bavarian countryside. The hotel is immaculately clean. The staff is very friendly and did their best to meet all of our needs. One of most fun things about this hotel was the free breakfast buffet. We loved the fresh breads and homemade jams each morning. We...

For a group of friends coming to Munich for the Oktoberfest, this hotel was ideal. It is close to the main station - 8 minute walk, 5 minute walk to the Oktoberfest grounds and 10 minute walk to Marienplatz. We found the rooms surprising large. The breakfast was ok. They were however too eager to clear out the breakfast at...
