This is a very clean and pleasant small family-run hotel, conveniently located to LMU, the English Garden, and the old town center of Munich. The U3/6 subway station is just a few blocks distant. Lots of good restaurants near by. The staff is efficient if not especially friendly, and the breakfast is a typically good Bavarian assortment of meats, cheeses,... More

This hotel was in the university and museum district. It was a couple of blocks from the subway. The rooms were clean and quiet and beds were comfortable. We had a room with 3 beds and it was tight but not bad. Nice breakfast buffet and cute breakfast rooms. Staff very friendly. I would stay here again.

this is the classic german 3-star hotel: clean, everything works well (good shower, comfortable beds, etc.), but TINY rooms. my daughter and i had a room with two singles, and it was so narrow that they have to use the narrower version of the german single bed (90 rather than 100 cm wide) and still there was only a half... I highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Munich. This hotel is perfect if you're just looking for a place to get a good night's sleep, and be close to the city center in Munich. We stayed here for five nights, and it was quite affordable considering its proximity to the Marienplatz. We arrived after 10pm the first night,... More

Hotel Hauser is an excellent place to stay if you want to locate in the museum and university area of Munich. We chose it initially, quite simply, for the location. It’s a short walk to most of the major museums, and the area is full of restaurants (every kind imaginable), as well as wine bars, boutiques, book stores, etc. (I’d... More

Stayed here last December. Hotel is in the university district. Quite close to English Garden and the metro. It's about a 15 minute walk to the centre of Munich where some of the Christmas markets are. Hotel is nice and clean with free breakfast. Bathroom is a bit small but other than that it's great.

The hotel is located in the university district in Munich and is well catered for with shops, restaurants and public transport. You can walk to Marienplatz easily in around 20 minutes if you prefer. The hotel has been operating for a long time under the same ownership and they run it very efficiently. Any requests are dealt with promptly and... More

Well worth considering on a number of grounds. It's not far from the centre, about 10 minutes and a pleasant walk straight down Ludwigstrasse. The area is very nice, a good mixture of pleasant streets and there are plenty of good places for food and drink. The welcome was warm, efficient and typically Bavarian - hearty and polite. The room... More

The reception desk closes at 10:00pm but we were scheduled to arrive at midnight. We emailed the hotel in advance and they promptly provided a code which we entered on a keypad at the entrance door and out popped our room key. German efficiency! While our room was a bit tight, it was clean, bright, and nicely decorated. The breakfast... More

This wonderful little hotel is in the heRt of Munich. Walk to everything or take the underground train. The hotel is immaculate. Breakfast in the morning is typical Germany. Meats, sausages, cheese, on and on. We especially loved the comfortable bed and big pillows. The place is a gem.
