really great customer service! we initially had some trouble with our reservation confirmation but the hotel handled it and even gave us a night for free. excellent location, close to lots of shops, restaurants, and coffee shops. a decent walk to oktoberfest but totally doable, especially after a few beers.

We had an average stay here. The location is great but lots of street noise in the night. Museums nearby as well as plenty of places to eat. Breakfast was good, plenty to eat and good coffee. The lift is very tiny and the stairs could use a redo. Desk people pretty nice.

I had to find an ideal stay for one to two nights in central Munich for the Oktoberfest. I recently stayed in four and five star places but found this had more character than the bigger hotels. I stayed in the old part in the upper attic and was more than adequate to rest up so I can explore Munich....

We were a bit astonished about the big size of the room, which made us feel a little lost. Also it was dark and noisy. Although the room was in the new building we didn't enjoy it as much as we thought. The service didn't really fit with the price of 140€ for one night.

I stayed in the "new building" which is set back a bit from the street and updated. The room was huge, and eclectic, like others have said. It's about a 20 minute walk from the cathedral and central shopping district, right next to the university area. There are local shops and restaurants for sidewalk life. Super cute!

Wow- for a centrally located hotel, the rooms are absolutely massive! Lovely décor and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was also huge and had an amazing shower. The breakfast was good, with lots of options. Parking was very reasonable for a city centre hotel. The hotel is located right near two main galleries, and in a really great area with lots...

We arrived on a Thursday with reservations, but had not included the car. It was no problem to add the car at €12 a day (which is nothing really!) we didn't need the car for the three days we were there. Breakfast was a good German buffet. Lots of choices, loved the coffee maker. The room was the most colorful...

Good location, rooms better than expected (in Newer part of hotel) and continental breakfast adequate. Main gripe is getting a taxi back after a few steins of local lager - the drivers were simply laughing at us asking to das hotel !!!!!!!!!

We stayed at the original building in an eclectic room overlooking the street. Most of room's decor was oriental, with contemporary details and comfortable bathroom. VERY spacious, with seating area and good WiFi (free and fast). Breakfast was included and o.k. The hotel has only several parking spaces (at extra charge) and you need to reserve one. The greatest asset...

Good location in the University area, good restaurants, bars & transport etc. There are 2 sections to this hotel we stayed in the original section sadly! The room was very small & the bathroom was terrible. No aircon, no fan, no fridge. The breakfast was ok but the breakfast room is very small, they must only get a food delivery...
