Our first visit to Germany. We didn't know where to stay and were happy with our choice. The location is quiet yet convenient as it is just a few blocks to the central terminal, restaurants, Oktoberfest grounds, shopping, touring. They serve a lovely breakfast, are friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 3rd floor and quite comfortable. They ask...

Hotel Uhland is located in a charming neighborhood in a beautiful building (that was likely once a stately in-town home). The breakfast is elaborate and delicious, the staff polite and eager to please. From the train station you may pass through some less than charming urban neighborhoods, but persevere because this place is worth it.

This hotel is in a beautiful old building, with beautifully updated rooms, in a quiet neighborhood outside the center. Well, it might not be so quiet during Octoberfest, since it's very close to the grounds where the festivities are held, but it is utterly delightful to stay here. The staff is very capable and helpful, especially with directions from the...

Extremely unhappy with this hotel's staff and cancellation policy. My husband and I had a reservation here based on trip advisor and rick steves recommendations. Unfortunately I broke my foot 2 weeks before our trip and had to cancel. I provided a letter from my physician and the hotel would not bend on their 4 week cancellation policy. Hotel staff...

Great stay in early May 2017. A short walk from the train station and an even shorter walk to the fest grounds to enjoy the spring festival Fruhlingfest! Stayed in a single room. Ok size and very clean. Breakfast was also very good. They all speak very good English. Will stay here again.

Hotel is spacious, clean, comfortable, in a great location. What makes this hotel is the staff. Everyone is friendly, kind, and helpful. Nate was exceptional, helping us find the best places to go. I've stayed in quite a few places and have to say this hotel is the best one. I would give it more stars if I could. If...

I highly recommend this hotel for overall location and friendly employees. This hotel is located within walking distance of the train station and old town. In addition, this hotel is located in a very quiet section of Munich. Olga and the rest of the team had outstanding recommendations for dinner. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way possible. Thanks...

When you find 'just the right place' it's difficult to try another. Location is prime with easy access to main train station, the Marienplatz, the subway. Hotel is in a quiet residential area which, makes rest after long days easy to attain. Strolls through the neighborhood are beautiful. We've stayed before and each experience has been beyond satisfying. The staff...

Hotel Uhland has been our go to hotel in Munich for years! Great property, nice rooms, wonderful breakfast, and welcoming service! The location is perfect with easy access on foot or via public transportation. The Oktoberfest ground are just down the street. We usually walk to the city center or main train station. Truly a gem and a place to...

The location is near the station and with us making a lot of day trips this was good. However its not that close either. If your okay dragging suitcases through streets or taking the bus then its fine. The room was large and since it was our anniversary they gave us a bottle of wine which was very sweet.
