Hotel Italia is around 7-10mins walk to Marienplatz; a safe place to stay for a solo female traveler like myself. They provide free maps that ate very helpful to roam around. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was really very good. A short walk of 5mins to Deutsche Bahn railway station that gets you to the...

All was good for the price. Room is ok, TV, fast internet, good cleaning. Free breakfast (continental, no hot meals). Amazing pillows. Ok beds. Was silent at night even during weekend. Area is "unique" due to big amount of strip bars and emigrants. However it has advantage of opened shops on Sunday.

the hotel is small but clean rooms with mini bar, without teapots; good staff!, very tired bathroom - broken tile, broken bath cabin, not clean floor in the bathroom, rather good breakfast no luggage room - we leaved the luggage near the reception, narrow stairs up, there was a lift, noisy street, very close to the main railstation but this...

Very clean rooms, 24hour reception, polite receptionists (although their English isn't very good), very close to the center of the city and the neighborhood has super market restaurants cafeterias. The breakfast is rich. The rooms are spacious. The only disadvantage of the area around the hotel is the noise during the night especially the weekends because of the drunken people...

Hotel is in a good position, near the center, the zone is multi-ethnic with loto fo strip clubs but you always feel in safe when walking. Very small room, with essential facilities but quite comfortable. The guys are really nice, not always with a good english. There is a parking 100m far from the hotel, common price is 21€/night, for...

Hotel Italia is quite close to the München railway station and thus also close to the city center. I stayed in a single room for one night and had a great stay. The room looked like new, it contained a comfortable bed, desk with mini-bar, flatscreen TV... the bathroom was rather small but OK. Best of all was the breakfast...

The photos don't really show the 'red light' clubs on the same street. Room basic, on the small side. The wardrobe was probably bigger than the bathroom. Good location, close to the city and main station. Nowhere really to sit during the day - no lounge area. Close to Octoberfest, if that's what you are looking for. Dirty under the...

This isn't the greatest hotel I've ever stayed in, but it's far from the worst. First things first: the location isn't as bad as I'd feared. True, there are some "gentlemens' bars" nearby, but I saw no trouble around them, and didn't feel at all threatened by them or anything else on the streets. The room was quite small, and...

I have stayed at the Hotel Italia twice, both during Octoberfest. The location is ideal. It is a modest walk from Octoberfest and the the terrific parade, not to be missed, goes by the corner 100 ft out the door. Not surprisingly, the rates for Octoberfest are exorbitant but, again, you are paying for location. The hotel itself has a...
