I recommend anyone on a budget to stay here. The place is very close to a tram station and it takes you to the center in no time so the slightly remote location isn't an issue. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing and even in just...More
Stayed here every summer for the past three years. Great place with hot showers, cheap food. Once a week draught beer is served at dirt cheap price. Well looked after. Has a large communal fire every evening. Relaxed atmosphere.

The S1 and S8 go from the airport to Munich center, then there is the N17 tram to a stop approximately 5 minutes walk from The Tent. Not sure it is suitable for an 8 year old, doable but might not be the best location.
