The Jakober Hof is at arm's length from the Fuggerei, a unique site the visit of which you should envisage. The hotel is also only at a 5 minutes walking distance from the city center with its nice churches and museums . You will appreciate that the hotel offers a parking possibility and a large breakfast buffet. During sleeping hours...

In fact the hotel is not that bad. The staff were friendly, helpful, room is clean, OK & simple, location is great just 3 mins away from the town center. The bathroom shower is the most powerful and comfortable one during our entire trip. Another plus is the room rate and the breakfast cost are also quite reasonable. However the...

My partner and I stayed here for three nights, and we felt very unwelcome. We did not arrive together and she was treated in a very unfriendly manner. As this did not get any better, we skipped the breakfast, rather than sit in this unfriendly atmosphere, so we can't judge the breakfast. The room was reasonably clean, but there was...

Stopped off in Augsburg on route to the Balkans. Booked on www.booking.com sitting outside the place so got a good enough rate. Parking space convenient next to hotel and although room was a bit spartan was serviceable and ok for one night. Short walk to the centre of town which is pretty and non touristy as we like and ate...

We chose this hostel because it was conveniently located to meet up with the friends of my girlfriend and because we needed a cheap stay for one night with a safe parking space for my motorbike. Since we needed to stay on a budget this hostel was our only choice in Augsburg at the time. The service is good and...

Dont be mistaken by the old-style outside, the rooms are very clean and modern. Not having a parking lot was not a problem, since there are parking spaces right in front of the hotel. The only down point was not having an elevator, we were staying at third floor, and that was a little inconvinient. But overall, a very nice...

Unfortunatelly I was there twice. First time I have booked it too late so I have to pay 150 EUR for 3 people 2 room apartment, where was no wifi coverage as promissed, shutters was broken, so we wake up with the sun at 6. Breakfast was terrible. Not enough eggs, not enough cutlery, not enough loaves, you have to...

This hotel is located on the outskirts of the town centre, which means walking to the main shopping areas or Rathaus for sightseeing takes about 10 minutes. They have a small free car park which is also very handy. What lets this hotel down however, is the difference between the standards of the rooms if you happen to be allocated...

There were three events going on in Augsburg, and I was unable to get a room in one of the hotels I usually stay in. The Jakoberhof was the last hotel in the city that had a room available on HRS. It is an old hotel near the Fuggerei (but a ways from city center) that consists of a main...
