Friendly staff and good location right in the middle of Dinkelsbühl. The breakfast was tasty with a selection of warm and cold dishes. Our room was large and clean. This is a good stop close to the A7 autobahn while traveling through Germany.

We had lunch here on a beautiful sunny Sunday and it was very busy, but the food was excellent! My wife had the fresh asparagus and salmon salad and I went for the rib eye steak - both dishes were delicious. We ate outside, under the awning, and watched the world go by in delightful Dinkelsbuhl whilst eating and drinking...

We stayed at the Gasthaus zur Sonne when the whole town was celebrating Dinkelsbühls festival Kinderzeche. (17-23 july) It was a great place to stay, in the center of the festival. It seemed like everyone was gathering there. Our apartment was on the third floor. It had a very big bedroom with a double bed, facing the front of the...

Stayed here on December 4, 2014. Room was clean and a good size with a sofa, TV and kitchenette. Bathroom was clean. Bed was comfortable. We even had a little private outside balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was located on main street Dingelsbuhl and we were able to walk down to the Christmas market. Would highly recommend...

Great location at the center of town. Room was reasonable rate, clean and a good value with a view of the town square. The hotel lists free parking which really is on street with a parking timer needing to be visited every hour or about 250 meters away in a public lot. Plenty of stairs and no elevator. Restaurant and...

Great renovated and comfortable rooms in a historic guesthouse with an excellent restaurant. The staff were friendly and very relaxed. The family apartment was comfortable (though be warned that there are a few flights of stairs to get to it.)

We stayed for 1 night on our recent road trip. This is an excellent hotel in an lovely old town. On arrival we were helped in with our cases and shown to our room by a really friendly and helpful lady as were all the staff. Our bedroom was Amazing. We were on the top floor overlooking the road. Less a hotel, more a very popular bar/restaurant with rooms. It felt rather impersonal with no sign of the owners but the restaurant staff were friendly and efficient. The food was excellent and inexpensive, as too was the beer and wine. The outside terrace closes at 11pm "for the sake of our neighbours and hotel quests who want to sleep"...

We ate lunch here as we spent a day in Dinkelsbuhl looking at this medieval walled town. Good solid German food. My pork shoulder was a bit too dry without any gravy, but was very tasty nontheless. Friendly servers. You will enjoy your experience here.
