We stayed in Lohengrin apartment ... it was exactly like the photos! It was a nice change of pace to not be in a hotel. We had our own private terrace where we saw the moonrise over the alps and the sunrise too! There are lots of restaurants and grocery store (Rewe) nearby. The kitchen is stocked with all the... There are four self catering apartments and the owner's quarters in this beautiful large old home. The location is very close to town, super market, Tourist Information, the train station, etc., but is still very quiet. Oh, I forgot to mention how close it is to lovely tortes that can be taken away from the hotel/restaurant/sweet shop across the street... More

One our favorite places we've every stayed! My wife, my son, and I were traveling with another friend and got the 2 bedroom top floor apartment. It had 2.5 baths (updated and nice!), a big living room, separate kitchen, and a balcony. At night you can watch the sun set over the alps! It's a 5 minute drive from the... More

We stayed for 4 nights in the Hohenschwangau apartment, and could not have been happier. The rooms were immaculate and the views out each window of the Hohes Schloss and nearby mountains were amazing. The apartment was light and airy, with and we loved how thoughtful and informative Mr. Bletschacher was. We had our two children with us and it... More

We missed a connecting train at Munich station and so arrived at close to 9 pm. We did call Peter at the Munich station to inform him that we would be late. Fortunately, Peter heard our door bell as we could not figure out how to retrieve our key with the code. This apartment is very close to the train... More

We stayed at Mein Lieber Schwan for three nights in the Schwanstein apartment. What a delight! Two story apartment that is open and airy. Kitchen, large bath, wonderful bed and a small balcony. The apartment was spotless. After staying in many hotels and B&Bs, this apartment was a nice change. It is only a block from the center of town... More

We have two large bedrooms, a nice living room, wonderful kitchen and three bathrooms. Should be enough for the two of us, Ha ha ha. You couldn't ask for a better location, convenient and quiet. Beautiful, spacious apartment on a quiet side street. Amenities were top rate. The place is huge by European standards, would stay here again. This apartment is close the old town, and this was the nicest lodging we experienced in the 11 days of travel in Germany this year.
