The hotel was an easy 10 minute walk from the railway station, just inside the city wall, very easy to find. The staff were very pleasant and really helpful, and spoke good English. The hotel is an old place that is quaint and quirky, with lots of character and no lift, not too much of a problem as you only...

Right inside the city walls, this place is about 10 - 15 min walk from the train station. Very convenient and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was good. It is a pretty old place, and that's what makes it authentic. We had to climb up two levels, which was not too bad.

Staff were really lovely and helpful. Location is just inside the city walls which made for a really authentic experience. Parking is easy and free, located just across the street. Breakfast was good, but not a huge variety. Beds comfortable. Our room ( room 21) had a road close by and was a bit noisey during the night. Good value...

We stayed two nights - would have liked to stay more!. Very clean and comfortable - in a recently (1 yr ago) refurbished room. Beds were nice and firm. People seem to complain about a lot - creaking stairs etc - yes but that adds to the atmosphere! No lift - too bad, its an old place and therefore you...

Great location, in the old town within walking distance to everything. Parking across the street. The rooms were nice, clean and fresh. Breakfast was great, fresh bread and nice cold cuts. Very good value, the staff extremely friendly and helpful. It was a real pleasure and easy to reach from Frankfurt by a rental car.

This is a great little place to stay. Right in the old city, parking across the street, great food at good prices. Rooms small but functional (but what do you expect in such an old building!). We had one of the refurbished rooms and for one night found it sufficient. Everything within minutes walking distance. be sure to do the...

Located just inside the walls to the inner town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. It is about 10 minutes walk from rail station. Cobbled streets, quaint half timbered houses make this town special. But it is touristy with expensive small shops. The Gasthof is 3 minutes walk from the centre of town. The single room I booked didn´t have a...

Stayed here for one night a few days ago. I chose this hotel bases on TA reviews and I was not disappointed. I booked a 3 bed room online, it turned out to be very spacious, including a large modern bathroom. The beds are SO COMFORTABLE! I just love the orthopaedic mattress! All the amenities like soap, shampoo are provided. They...

What a great value for inside the walled city and with parking for our rental car. The staff could not have been nicer. Our room was clean with old world charm (OK the bath was kinda dated) and had a street view of the old city. Easy walk to market square. The breakfast was included and above average.

In April 2012, I rented a car in Frankfurt with Sixt (the best deal then) and drove through Germany, Austria, Slovakia (Bratislava only) Slovenia and Croatia for 25 days. I stayed in 20 hotels and spent an average of 72 Can/US dollars per night, which is way cheaper than the prices in Canada and USA. Based on this experience, I...
