A cute, quaint hotel in a beautiful town. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and decorated very typical. Location is within walking distance to everything. The breakfast is very good with a good variety. Would stay here again.

This hotel is a great find and all 'non-smoking.' We hesitated because it is 15 min from the Hbf. But worth the walk. We stayed above the kitchen in the older house and while a few noisy stairs and squeaky floors it is a clue to its age! A great restaurant, friendly owners who gave us a choice of rooms,...

Excellent location, a 5 min walk from Rothenburg's main square, in the quiet end of town distant from bus loads of day trippers. Booked the Falcon's Nest, per their website "56 steps to happiness". They're not wrong. Wonderful top-floor, ultra-quiet room with windows on 4 sides and great views from 2. Structural timbers protruding from floor & ceiling and sloped...

My husband rolled his eyes when I wanted to stay in Rothenburg on our car trip through Germany, but it was worth it (although it is super touristy) and he ultimately agreed. This hotel is great, quaint, lovely staff who were super helpful with restaurants and sights, providing us a map when we got there. Rooms are clean, quirky and...

This was our second time staying here. If your looking for the rustic charm of Germany you will love this place. Even though it is in the old town, the hotel mixes old with new. The beds are comfortable and warm and the rooms are spacious. The bathrooms vary in size but all are updated with nice tile and fixtures...

Very well located in the Old Town, clean cosy room, nice restaurant at hotel. Very nice house and comfortable bed. Staff at front desk also serves at the restaurant so .... be patient at check in! We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and service was prompt, friendly and efficient. Food was simple but ok.

This was my 7th trip to this delightful town and our first visit to this hotel. Our usual hotel recommended it as we needed a room for 3. The hotel was twice the price of where we normally stay and did not include breakfast which was disappointing and unusual for Germany in our experience. The room however was clean, bright,...

We stayed one night in room 18, which had two beds in two separate rooms (we only needed one), and was a corner room so we had windows on two sides, which helped cool the room at night, as it was pretty warm when we were there. The room was rustic but very clean and very well appointed, but with...

Very cool facility just a short walk from the town square. Our room was on the third floor in the old section of the hotel resulting in a difficult hike with heavy suitcases. Otherwise, the room was very clean and well maintained with great views out of the window. The staff was very friendly and, upon checkout, called us a...

Stayed one night in August. Rooms are somewhat spartan, but adequate and clean. Major selling points: sleeping in a room in a medieval building and being within the old town walls. Unforgettable ambience from which to explore an unforgettable town, which is so much more stunning to see by staying in town overnight once the bus loads of day trippers...
