We were unsure of hotels to select for our trip and choose this hotel as the reviews talked specifically about the rooms. We looked at various booking sites then decided to connect directly with the hotel. They offered us a room not on the booking sites known as the wedding room. The room was wonderful with a view of the...

The hotel is beautiful, very well decorated, very charming hotel. The room is big enough and looks like new. There is a private parking but you need to pay to park there. The bathroom can be renewed, but is not a problem. The breakfast is OK. The localization is very good too.

Was very please with our stay. We picked this hotel because it was one of only two that had airconditioning. but we were so happy we picked it. very clean, modern upgrades in the bathroom, comfortable beds. quaint lobby and garden to eat in. just outside the door, you are on the streets of Rothenburg, just steps away from shopping,...

Close to the bustling market, conveniently placed slightly down the road from the main crowded square but still within the quaint street of the old walled town. Very comfortable. Food good, honest local cuisine. Well run hotel, staff polite and very helpful.

We spent two delightful nights at Hotel BurgGartenpalais to get into the Christmas spirit at Rothenburg odT's Christmas Market, in one of my favorite towns in Germany. No disappointment here! Beautifully renovated and large rooms, with plenty of classic touches. We were on the first floor and there was virtually no noise . Our room had a small sitting area,...

We stayed for just one night but you can't beat the location or charm! There is parking behind the hotel and costs 7.50€/ night. We had hot cocoa and dessert after a long day exploring and it was fantastic! The rooms are recently renovated and have lovely bathrooms and comfortable beds. TV in all languages.

The BurgGartenpalais probably gets its name from the fact that it has a large garden/patio in the back. I think the only other hotel in Rothenburg with a similar feature is the Eisenhut. Unlike the Eisenhut, all of the rooms in the "Burg" are large and quaint. Parking is right behind the building, too, in back of the garden, and...

We wanted a central hotel with private parking and found the BurgGarten Palais on Trip advisor. Very good solution: nice room, perfect location, private parking in the back yard, nice staff. Breackfast is ok.but maybe not as rich as you can expect from a four star hotel. the food in the restaurant is ok but menu is limited. Overall a...

We booked online several months in advance. Not sure if this was necessary as there did not appear to be a lot of people staying here. Perhaps the price point was a factor or we just never saw them. We wanted to stay in one really nice hotel during our stay in Germany and we just about hit the jackpot...

Lovely restored mansion with modern amenities including elevator, bathrooms, restaurant. Owner and staff are charming and responsive to every request. The family room and double room were both spacious. Market center just a short walk and very near the Christmas shops ( worth visiting if you are a lover of all things Christmas!).

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
It is not difficult to find a room for the nights in Rothenburg. One of the loveliest is to be found in the Herrngasse. It goes without saying that to live in a building from the Middle Ages has its attractions. Not luxurious, perhaps, but very comfortable, yet homely in the best sense. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, so that an enjoyable stay is assurd. One of the oldest nobleman`s house with individual and stylish interior. ... more   less
