The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond by letting us use their phone to make a long distance phone call after a minor mishap with our rental car. Hotel itself was clean and located on a quiet street just a couple minutes walk from all the gorgeous restaurants and shops. We'd stay here again!

We stayed here for one night on our way to the Italian Dolomites. It has an underground car park for motorbikes at the back of the hotel so good if the weather is bad. We could not see a bar or restaurant however the town is just a few minutes walk away so no major problems for food etc. The... More

3 girlfriends and I visited Rothenburg for the Christmas market. This hotel is in the Altstadt, not far from the Marketplatz, and is everything you could want for the sort of break we had planned - clean room, comfortable beds and a fantastic breakfast that can keep you going for a good few hours! In addition there is a car... More

Stayed for one night with two teenagers and our dog. Pretty building with attractive breakfast hall area. Easy five minute walk to marktplatz. We were pleasantly surprised that free wifi was building-wide and not just in the lobby area. We arrived early so scored free parking on the street in front of hotel. Others who arrived later were out of... More

My wife and I spent the past weekend in Rothenburg. The Altes Brauhaus was the perfect spot for a quiet romantic stay. The staff was excellent, including the dog! Breakfast was excellent! If you choose to stay at this hotel, which we highly recommend, ask for a high floor. The vaulted ceiling with exposed beams was beautiful. Walking into town... More

Rothenberg is definitely worth a stay, and staying within the walled town adds to the experience. Streets are very narrow, but don't be put off; parking for the Altes Brauhaus is down an even-smaller alley! Check in first. Paying for parking is definitely worthwhile. Our room was spacious and opened onto a large patio area that served several rooms and... More

We have just returned from spending a weekend (for my Birthday) in lovely Rothenburg, even the weather made the weekend by being sunny and warm. Having found this hotel (within the city walls) and parked up in the hotel garage we checked in accordingly. The reception staff, were very friendly until we mentioned that we had parked in the garage....... More

From the minute we arrived, we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. The staff was very accommodating and the parking was a big plus. The breakfast room looked like a dining hall in an old castle. There was a large variety of foods for breakfast and it was very good and plentiful. The room was large and comfortable... More

The staff were clearly having a bad day and decided to take it out on me. When I arrived the safe in the room was not working and I asked for it to be fixed. I was told that was not possible, I couldn't move rooms or leave valuables in the hotel safe. When I eventually got the manager to... More

We organised our accommodation prior to arriving in Germany and this was the best one on the Romantic Road. It has got an underground garage and as the city is so small, everything is in walking distance. Our breakfast was perfect to give us a good start for the day. We booked the special on their website and were happy... More
