Within walking discount from the pedestrian area. Staff was friendly and the room was simple but nicely appointed. Parking is limited but u can park in the garage at a special rate of 8€ per 25 hours. Would stay again.

Nice basic hotel, very close to the historic market square. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet, even though there appeared to be a tour group there while we were. Numerous restaurants and bakeries nearby between and on the market square. Very limited (and scarily tight)parking available in front of the hotel. Park immediately next door at...

Location is not far from train station and at the same time can walk into the city. Cleanliness, facilities in the room and comfort are on average. Room size is ok. Front desk is friendly. Room rate should includes breakfast.

Stayed in September with temperatures in the upper 30's so the air con got well used. Room was quiet and the breakfast was fine. The hotel is about one minute from the river and the nearest beer garden so all round a good choice. The tram stops outside the hotel and town centre is traffic free other than taxis so very...

We had a vey nice double room with a large, comfortable bed. There was great air con which was a relief as it was so hot. Fast wi-fi (essential) and a good bathroom. Friendly staff. Some noise from the bar situated at the rear. Breakfast was served in a very nice Bavarian style room. Delicious, fresh food and helpful staff...

The restaurant is very pleasent the staff helpful and friendly. The food is very good a little on the expensive side but for a holiday or special occasion worth a visit. Portions are quite large but there is a chance to order a small portion at a reduced price. Wines are also good

We (5) stayed in this hotel for only one night travelling to the north of Europe. The location is in the city centre very close to rhe main places of interest. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast (not included in the reservation) was good.

A good clean hotel with good service and well working free wifi. Location is in the heart of Würzburg, short walk to the river. Breakfast very solid German style. If you need parking, remember to book it in advance

From Rotterdam to Wurzburg - a longish drive for an overnight stay at `The Strauss`. Ideally situated in the town centre and the friendly staff made it an enjoyable stop-over.We did not eat in the hotel restaurant as we wanted to explore the town. The bedroom was clean and comfortable.
