Now it starts with hotels. Leonardos ask for extra charges if you want to have a decent coffee. 4€ at breakfast for an cup of coffee latte. Feels like low cost. Trucks are parking in front of the hotel at 04:00, you will get up by the noise. Ask for a queensize bed, you receive 2 singlebeds a 80cm, far...

As the title says, the breakfast is hugely varied and tasy. It is very well worth the 10ish euro more (per day) it costs. I stayed in a double room and it was quite small (no closet..what?). We asked for two separate beds (and were reassured they were separate while checking in at the reception) and it turned out they...

I had some tough times is Berlin. My friend and I were staying in separate hotels. Then he was robbed, money, phone, everything. We desided to move to same hotel to make things a bit easier. The hotel B where I was living said there is no way to check out early. You have to pay all nights for the...

The hotel is suitable for tourists and business people and has excellent transport links to Tegel airport, the city centre and beyond. Located on Wilmersdorfer Straße, which is part of a large and developed shopping district, the hotel sits protected just North of the main road of Bismarckstraße and its immediate neighbourhood has a much more subdued but pleasant atmosphere...

I stayed at Leonardo Hotel when I was working with Deutsche Opera and the location was ideal, literally around the corner. The hotel is clean, the rooms comfortable and with all necessary commodities. I was disappointed that there wasn't free wifi in the rooms, but you can get wifi in the lobby. The staff were helpful and to the point....

The hotel is very well situated on the river close to restaurants and cafes in Berlin. It is new and has a lovely entrance and facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms and also fresh however I found them very small. The bathroom was small but had a very smart concept with the bathroom door. I would...

A nice hotel not in centre of Berlin, but still a good location. Staff friendly but not very experienced in order to know how to help a customer. The rooms are very nice and clean, though the walls were dirty! The bigest problem though was the internet. They say that all rooms have free wifi, but it was so slow...

We spent two nights in this hotel. The location is good, close to the u-bahn, and the room was comfortable and clean. Price was very decent. Rude and poor attention at the front desk. The soap deposits in the bathroom were empty the first night and didn't fill them the next day. The area close to the hotel was nice,...

I was in Leonardo for one week. The location - near Bismarckstraße station - is the most important. I had not known about the commerce and restaurant in the region, and Its was a great surprise. It´s possible, for example, to go to Kurfürstendamm (a luxury designer region) using the subway very quickly. The breakfast is very good with a...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
