Large, high rise hotel in the former East Berlin. Positives. Its location close to the city centre, the main tourist attractions and the Alexanderplatz railway station. The rooms are clean, modern and well-maintained. TV and Wi-Fi are both fine. The restaurant and bar are OK, although not cheap. Service and food are both fine. The hotel is close to the...

When booking in to a Ramada Hotel you can generally expect a good value hotel with a standard commensurate to your room rate. This hotel is no exception, great ( English speaking) staff, a brilliant location to transport links, Xmas markets, eateries of various types and wide range of shops. My only criticism is that the economy rooms did not...

Perfectly good hotel in a great location. We found the breakfast a tad on the steep side (€15 each) so we purchased elsewhere which meant we got two for the price of one. We also found the room to be too warm and stuffy during the night and unless you don't mind sleeping with the sound of emergency sirens sounding...

Stayed here a few times, Great location in the 'Mitte' area of Berlin. Modern, Clean Rooms, Bathrooms slightly on the small size but nevertheless all very modern and clean. Reception staff (as you would expect in Germany) Very pleasant and efficient. Small issue, There is currently a large building being built at the rear of the Hotel, Construction workers start...

I enjoyed our stay at the Ramada, good position for transport and trips out, staff looked after us as we were a larger group. Generally very good. Only problems was a harassed barman on arrival later in the bar. On trying to pay with my prepaid euro card it was not accepted, which was strange as I used it all...

This hotel is ideally located for visiting Christmas Markets and city tours of Berlin being 5/10 minute walk from Alexandraplatz Station (U, S, DB) 30 minutes from Shonefeld Airport. All the staff were courteous and helpful. Excellent selection at breakfast, clean and modern bedrooms. Meals were good value and the bar and dining room area staff tried hard to sit...

The breakfast is awful and isnt replenished enough through the morning. The lobby also isnt big enough to cope with all the throngs. Yes the spot is decent near Alexanderplatz but the horribly touristy Munich beer hall is next door. Generally disappointing

Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time rating us. We are very sorry that we did not met your expectations regarding the breakfast. Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
