It's just poor. Really poor. The rooms are falling apart.....in neither of our rooms did the shower work properly. There was a lamp pulled out of the wall. It was all really tired inside, close scrutiny of the carpets wasnt a good idea nor were any of the soft furnishing particularly clean to look at. There's no bar, no communal... More

This place is a total time travel to the past. I don't find it romantic but disastrous. Bad things: Loud floors, dirty carpets, smelly furnitures from the 50s, extremely soft mattresses on the bed, WiFi not working, staff unhelpful, soundproofing not existing, breakfast is disgusting. Totally creepy feeling! I'm gonna thank the reservation for my travel agency... Good things: close... More

...to be avoided at any price! The hotel is way past its good times. And we have been using it as family hotel in the past ten years, as we live around the corner. But even the proximity now does no longer make up for the run down, awfully styled and totally overpriced hotel. It could be a very charming... More

We booked this hotel via Bookings. com, mainly because of it's location, handy for the airport and transport into Berlin. We had the 'red riding room', the room was a reasonable size with a double bed. Don't believe the pictures you see on-line the whole hotel has an air of neglect and is in dire need of refurbishment. The first... More

This hotel was the worst hotel I have ever been in. We paid around €200 for 3 nights. When we entered our 'room' we were shocked. It was more of a closet than an actual room. There was 1 (!!) single bed. One. Single. Bed. We were with 2 persona (a couple). In the small hallway, a foldout bed was... More

We booked this hotel as an emergency last-minute plan alteration (missing our flights home and having to wait till next day). We booked online and didn't have to pay until we reached the hotel. It was only £27 for a double room for a night with breakfast included and that was great. IT was fairly close to a train/tram station... More

We had three Roms. We thought that they all had bathtub as promised. Only two had that. There was something wrong with the heat in my room, so it was HOT. I sleept with the window open (in october). The rooms are large and clean. The bed was hard and bumpy. Next time I visit Berlin I'll be staying at... More

This was definitely a very quirky hotel, when we first arrived you notice how old it is and the rustic elevator. It had sort of a creepy vibe to it but personally I loved the old creepy feel! As soon as we arrived on our floor we were greeted by a very decorative in the enchanted theme, as seen in... More

This was the most terible night in my life so far. The hotel is quite creepy during the night. The room smelt bad, sheets were dirty, same for the bathroom. I asked for another room, but the receptionist said they were sold out. She was quite unfriendlly like I wad bithering her for nothing. My colleagues had the same problem.
