One of the most luxurious hotels in Berlin, located at the most prominent address in Berlin Mitte, Regent Berlin offers a top end hotel Product. Marble, stone and exquisite wooden panels, creates a dream-like atmosphere in the lobby, and surrounding rooms. The hotel offers a 2 star Michelin restaurant, where breakfast also is served. The restaurant holds the very highest...

The Regent Berlin is a very modern, well designed and maintained hotel with excellent service in a very convenient location. It is close to Metro stop, within easy walking distance of an array of dining options and shopping, and convenient to many Berlin attractions, particularly Museum Island. Our room was a good size, very well designed and maintained. Staff were...

I stayed 4 nights in this Hotel. We booked this hotel as we were expecting excellent service in a stylish atmosphere. The lobby and bar look sumptuous and feel cozy and welcoming. The Room we were 827 was dull and had very bad finishing, wallpaper not properly fixed to the wall, furniture saggy overused, mantras (although this could be personal)...

If you like me have not visited Berlin before then the Regent Hotel is quite a good place to stay as it offers a central location close to all of the tourist attractions you'd want to see (e.g. Checkpoint Charlie, museum island, cathedral, Reinstag and of course the Brandenburg Gate). Service is very good as the staff are extremely friendly...

A few days ago I was on a business trip in Berlin and decided to stay at Regent Hotel. The Hotel was lovely, with spacious and comfortable rooms. Fast Wi-Fi connection and a very tasteful breakfast. What amazed me the most is the very attentive and professional service from the personnel. Everyone was really helpful and friendly. I would like...

I have stayed many times and this property and staff never disappoints. Perfectly located near shopping, excellent restaurants (not to mention the Michelin starred restaurant in the hotel!) and walking distance to the Museum Island. This visit we had a corner Executive Suite with a lovely view on to the Gendarmenmarkt. Large bathroom with separate tub/shower and very comfortable living...

THIS is a hotel that understands how to put the guest in the center all the way through. From email correspondence before the stay, the doorman, the check in, the rooms (LOVE the bathrooms!) and the beautiful atmosphere at the hotel to the afternoon tea and breakfast. We felt pampered all the time during our stay. I know we payed...

It is not overwhelming , but basics are well defined. Very limited b fast options, however the quality is superb backed with great service. Rooms are spacious with high quality linen, with lovely regal appointments. And to top Berlin airport going for a strike , shows the country in bad light.

If you are looking for a great hotel within walking distance of many of the attractions that Berlin has to offer- this hotel has it all Thoroughly recommended. Breakfast expensive. In East side-business area, but close to main shopping strip, walk to museum island and Brandenburg Gates.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
