We chose this hotel due to its close proximity to Alexanderplatz and great price, which included a free continental breakfast and wi-fi access.
Getting to the hotel from the airport (Berlin Schonefeld) is easy and cheap - take a 5 minutes walk from the airport...More
This is a new, common hotel in the center of Berlin, close to the main important places. The hotel has rooms on the streetside, but also rooms looking onto a courtyard in the middle of the building. I have had such a room which was...More
Stayed here 3 nights on a recent trip to the city. I would describe the rooms to similar to the travelodge. Beds were comfortable, but be warned the double bed is two large beds pushed together, slept very well. Rooms very warm and clean.
The hotel has got every kind of facilities, nice hall and very comfortable beds but, on the other hand, the restaurant service was remarkably poor and the nearby area was totally desolated and anonymous.
I deeply don't recommend it to young people!
The hotel, the location and the service are all very good. The hotel itself is very new, it s furnished with nice taste. The design of the interior is Smart, good looking and functional. Being right in the city center is always the best solution...More

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
