We stayed at this hotel as a couple for a mid week leisure break. Not only is this city one of, if not the best places Ive been to, the hotel matched up too. Staff on check in we're friendly, quick and efficient with a straightforward entry into the hotel and our room. The foyer is very impressive with a...

The interior is stunning with it's cylindrical aquarium. The rooms were very nice, the view of the cathedral was superb. The breakfast choice was surprisingly large, our evening meal was very good with prices that were reasonable for a capital city hotel. We stayed Saturday/Sunday night and queues were fairly short and service was swift and attentive.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. High-speed internet included, great location and brilliant rooms. Would recommend. Great view onto fish tank. Concierge was very helpful and suggested what to do during my afternoon in Berlin. Great tour bus 50 metres away from the hotel.

One of the best hotels in Berlin, The Radisson Blu Hotel is a tourist’s delight, a businessman’s best friend and the family’s most preferred hotel to stay. The hotel is perfectly located with all the important attractions, eateries, bars and shopping areas easily accessible from the hotel. The biggest attraction is the banks of the River Spree on which the...

We originally planned on staying at the Ritz when Expedia offered this place for 30% off, with breakfast and a view of the Cathedral. It was a great pick! Literally steps from Museums, across the street from the trolley cars, and 5 minutes from the subway. The breakfast is normally €30 I heard, but if it's part of a package,...

The hotel is very well located: it is between the Berliner Dom, all main museums from the Museum island and the Alexander Platz. A wide variety of restaurants and boutiques is walking distance from the hotel around Hackescher Markt S-banh station (5 minutes walking distance from the hotel). As regard to the place itself, the tone is given as soon...

It was my 6th time at Radisson. Always excellent since my first time in 2004. Breakfast is unbelievable. Location in Mitte close to most attractions and night life. Excellent service and facilities. I recommend the business class rooms overlooking the Dome and river. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is about 25 minutes away by car from Tegel airport. Modern hotel situated close to the Cathedral and the TV Tower. Nothing much more I can add about the reception area with the Aquadom and the 2,000 beautiful fish! Check in was smooth. We got a free upgrade. Our room overlooked the road but was very well sound...

We stayed in December 2013. The location was great for the Xmas markets it has to be said. It's reasonably central for most city attractions. The standard double room was of a good size and standard, with a reasonably sized toilet/bathroom. I couldn't really feel the 5* quality anywhere in the Hotel though. It was far too generic... Everything was...

Dear TripAdvisor-User Frequent T, thank you for staying with us and reviewing your visit. Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
