Could not have loved this hotel more! I stayed in a Schoenberg area hotel prior to arriving here to get two different perspectives on Berlin neighborhoods. This place was hands down the winner. Clean, modern, spacious, wonderful staff, acceptable breakfast, and not pricey at all. It's set back far enough from Alexanderplatz where noise and traffic is not an issue...

We booked a family room in this hotel and it was a nice size, very clean and comfortable. The hotel was centrally located and close to the tram and train, about a five minute walk to both. It was also close to shops and restaurants and many of the main tourist attractions. The staff on reception spoke good English and...

The hotel location is amazing, is walking distance from the museum island, several shops and restaurants. The rooms are big and staff helpful. But Some things require urgent improvement: 1. Wifi is terribly slow 2. Towels were not changed, I had to call the reception to get clean ones 3. Instead of providing a double bed we got two single,...

The staff were amazing at this hotel - the room was excellent as was the breakfast - just a really enjoyable stay. They were only too happy to help and always remembered us by name when we came back. We thought the position excellent - near the Christmas markets, hop on hop off buses, shops etc

If you want to have a very good breakfast, choose this hotel. You can walk to several turistical places in a very safe zone, very near to Alexanderplatz. Do not hesitate to pay a little more in this hotel to improve your staying in Berlin.

Stayed here for 3 nights, the location is excellent in a quiet area but close to the public transport and shopping area. The people at the front desk was very professional and helpful. The room had a great window and a very nice view

Excellent hotel with good breakfast options. Clean and friendly service as well. The o nly issue was poor wifi connection which is important for international travelers. Would stay again if wifi worked better.

When we have arrived with my sister, we found out that they gave us a really tiny room. We asked them to change our room and they did it without any hassle. That was a plus point. What I love about this hotel is the location. You can walk anywhere except the one section of the Berlin Wall. I took...

Fairly unbeatable, historic location with pleasant rooms and straightforward, well-priced facilities and pleasant staff...but make sure to ask for one facing Rosenstraße (fantastic view of the TV tower) or the interior Wintergarten, as north-facing ones look out onto a busy road. And don´t forget to request a non-smoking unit if that´s important. Not remarkable, but early check-in and tremendous location...

It is nice hotel in the center of Berlin. You can walk to main tourism destinations from here just 2 -3 minutes. Nice atmosphere. I asked the room 4 hours before the check in and the staff gave it. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
