I mainly picked this hotel chain because of the price and the location and I wasn’t disappointed.
The hotel is opposite the Berlin Central Station and the airport bus from TXL stops almost across from the hotel. You only cross the street and the hotel...More
there were lots of small faults.
1. The TV couln't get a BBC channel.
2. There were no proper glasses, only thin plastic ones wrapped in cling film, which can break if you unpack them.
3. There was no space big enough for a laptop....More

You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighbourhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life
has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city centre are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighbourhood in the city.

There is a bus going from outside the Airport hall at street level. You will find signs for "Bus" inside the arrival hall. It has 'TXL' on the destination window, and it goes direct to the Central Station (Hauptbahnhof). It costs Euro 2.70, and you pay either the driver or in peak periods a seller outside. The hotel Motel One is on the same side of the station, where the bus arrives, you don't have to go through the whole station.
