The hotel is near the metro station : Ernst-Reuter-Platz and it has nice restaurants near the hotel. The location is very good. The breakfast is delicious, and the staff friendly. The rooms are ok, not very modern. The problem i had at this hotel was with a reception young lady(blonde) which wasn't very friendly. When we arrived at the hotel,...

This hotel is clean and friendly, in a lovely district of Berlin. The nearest station is the zoo & we were able to walk to a lot of the city (wearing comfy shoes!) but also close to train and bus links @ Zoologischer BHF - so would recommend for all. The room is large and airy - suited a family...

We had a 5 person room on 1st floor which was clean, spacious and comfortable. Each bed had an individual duvet & pillow with spares in a cupboard (but no spare covers). Check-in quick & easy, no queue. There is a lift but it is very small (5 of us struggled to get in it) Breakfast is available but not...

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and our group was in two seperate rooms. The other part of our group had a lovely room in the main building, large and quite clean even though they asked for a twin room got a double. My room was nowhere near as nice. Despite paying more it was far more cramped,...

The hotel is well located, close to underground stations. It has a very good breakfast. The room was nice and clean. the hotel staff was very friendly. Berlin is a wonderful city for a short stay. We had a very good time.

I had a booking in this hotel, but decided to cancel it and change to another hotel. I have worked in the hospitality industry myself and I have never seen such unprofessional behaviour. I tried to contact them several times and ask some details about my booking. My first four times were ignored and finally had an answer to my...

Stayed here with DH & two teens. It's an older building, but was plenty comfortable. The room we had was huge by European standards & actually had 5 beds in it. I would stay here again. It was walking distance from the zoo & the main station for the hop on/hop off buses, it was surrounded by plenty of shops...

So far the best family room ever when it comes to size. We have tre kids and we all had a bed and nobody had to step on eachother. The room was clean, floor and walls on the thin side unfortunately. It´s not mentioned but there is a water boiler, tea and coffee for use in the room. Its a great...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
