Some of the reviews are very mixed on here but I can only go by my experience which was a pleasant one. The hotel is on a quiet road but near plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants I recommend the xantener eck just on the corner...More

Google Maps has a great options for public transport planning. If you select the train option, and then input your departure time (e.g. around 11:30PM for you) it will present you with a number of options - they seem to be a combination of the bus (X7) and underground (U7). Have a go for yourself!
