From outside and reception area it looked really rundown but got a real surprise when we got to the room. Was lovely clean with comfy beds. We stayed in a twin room but there was a sofa so 3 people could easily stay there. The shower...More
Nice place to stay. Room was very comfortable, quiet and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. It is close to pubs and shops. Close to bus station and subway. Stayed in this hotel in april 2012 - buisness trip.
Our overall feeling is that the management of this hotel focuses more on costs than on quality and service. The entrance and reception area are dreary with an industrial-looking dark grey thin carpet with black dull furniture. Really not attractive at all. At night, the...More

Google Maps has a great options for public transport planning. If you select the train option, and then input your departure time (e.g. around 11:30PM for you) it will present you with a number of options - they seem to be a combination of the bus (X7) and underground (U7). Have a go for yourself!
Remember to validate all tickets before you travel, they do check. When we travelled we also opted for the Berlin Welcome Card for 48h and this saved a fortune on public transport costs. Public transport is excellent in Berlin.
