I stayed one night in the New Berlin hotel in Friedrichshain - the service was excellent, everybody was very friendly and helpful. The room was very modern and clean and matched the description and pictures on the internet. Fortunately, there was no problem getting a...More
We were relocated to this hotel due to an overbooking, and this was definitely a pleasant surprise. The staff was nice and spoke good English, the room was clean and stylish. Shower was good as well. A cool detail was that there was a HDMI...More
Very nice and quiet hotel, super sauna and a fantastic breakfast. If only the cleaning personel would do a better job, this would be bingo. But we are really impressed by this hotel and would probably come back.

When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit
buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
