I stayed at this bespoke establishment several times already. It's decor, atmosphere, and luxury are all reviewed here and elsewhere to be read. However, this is the first time I experienced a problem, that should a lack of hosting skills, yet when I mentioned it to them I barely got an apology. I ordered the special diet breakfast. This cost...

Thank you very much for rating us on Trip Advisor. It`s a real pity that you rate our wonderful property and our helpful staff with only two points, due to an orange juice that you think should have been included in your breakfast order, as per your opinion. Our offers are clearly explained on our menu, so we do not...

My family visited here with 3 rooms. All 3 were beautiful - clean, upscale, beautiful views of the zoo, new. The main bar was beautiful with some wonderful cocktails. Service was great and prices were reasonable. The concierge team is one of the best I have encountered worldwide. The Roca Cafe was lacking, just seemed off and i think they...

This hotel is great and the service from the staff is brilliant. We stayed on the 15th floor with great views over the zoo. Its close to the metro station and located in a great place for shopping. The only thing I would change is the WIFI, Its 24euros per day which is crazy! Other than that its the perfect...

This hotel is stunning. From the minute you enter the lobby it becomes apparent how much effort has been put into making this a special place to stay in Berlin. I have had the pleasure of staying here twice before. The first was just a quick overnight stop and i knew i had to go back. After a hectic trip...

The Waldorf is probably the crowning glory of a resurgent West Berlin - on the doorstep of Bikini Berlin shops and a currently rejuvenating surrounding Ku'Dam area. It's done to a lavish standard - in some places teetering on glitzy/tacky, but most of the time steering to the right side of opulent but tasteful. It does make the whole space...

Excellent stay with knowledgeable concierge and attentive staff. Heated tile floors in the bathroom, wonderful buffet breakfast, and in a great part of town near the KaDeWe. The hotel is right near both the S-bahn and U-bhan stations.

Hotel/Location and Berlin. Waldorf Astoria is relatively new. It's not in the touristic center, Mitte, however, it's in Kuda'am minutes away from Kurfurstendamm shopping which is the best in Berlin. The hotel offers the largest, most modern rooms in the city...perfect for families or US travelers not used to tiny European rooms. Service: Immaculate. Perfect. On-Point! From doorman to the...

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms truly come with many nice details such as TVs in the bathroom mirrors, lots of outlets in the rooms, lovely spa and pool area, etc. However, we did feel a bit nickel'ed and dime'd since breakfast is 38 euros and wifi is not free. Would probably stay somewhere else that included more for...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
