The Mani has been our repeated stay when in Berlin either on business or as a family, often both. Conveniently located in Berlin Mitte with impeccable service and detail to attention. The rooms are well equipped in a clean modern style. We had a walk in shower and decent bathroom facilities. The hotel offers excellent in house dining(which he did...

Loved our stay at the Hotel Mani in Berlin. The photo's don't really do it justice. The room was very comfortable and toasty warm (required as it was freezing outside in December!). Bed was comfy and the toiletries from the White Company smelt divine. The hotel is really close to numerous public transport options and loads of cool bars, shops...

We had a brilliant stay in mitte for two nights. The hotel was very welcoming and the staff very friendly and spoke great English. The hotel had everything you could need , had free WiFi and a great vending machine if you'd forgotten any essentials. We loved the room, it wasn't particularly big, but this was no concern to us...

Three days in Berlin was probably not enough but Mani Hotel was great. From the moment we checked in staff were friendly and helpful, spoke excellent English and the room itself was stylish. We ate one evening in the restaurant which is rightly rated in Berlin's Top 20 and their breakfasts were excellent too. Location in Mitte district puts you...

We had a great stay in a gorgeous and cozy room. The hotel is a boutique type with beautiful hall and incredible breakfast. The staff was also incredible, especially when they recommend a bigger room for us. It was really helpful because we were with big luggage and would stay for more than 3 days (we stayed in Berlin for...

Although it's not a 5* hotel, the service, rooms and personal are amazing. Highly recommended. The rooms are bigger than expected, the rooms itself is very stylish, we had a spacious bathroom, a very stylish furnitured room and a nice room service. It's very clean and comfortable. The hotel is located at the so called new center of Berlin, U...

The price and the location were great for exploring Berlin. The rooms were small by US standards but fine for the trip. The focus is on design and everything works. The free wifi was great and supported streaming. Breakfast was not included.

Very nice hotel, clean, comfortable and quiet in a busy location. Staff are helpful and friendly. Only had one drink in the bar, ten euros for two small beers, not competitive with prices outside hence the four stars, but a lovely hotel, will go back and would recommend Dave Barnsley

I love this hotel. The location was perfect - just a few steps from a U station and the neighborhood was full of great little restaurants and bars. The staff were super helpful and nice and assisted me I'm planning out my day trips around the city. As the other reviews have said, the rooms are quite small but I...

Myself and my partner wanted a reasonably priced, well located hotel for a 4 night stay in Berlin. Using Trip Advisor reviews, I selected the Hotel Mani and it more than lived up to our expectations. We arrived just before 11am and were greeted by a really friendly welcome and a room that was ready for us. We were located...

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
