I've stayed in many hotels in Berlin and found this one to be the best so far. It's a bit nicer than the typical Mercure and it's located right by a U-bahn line as well as a tram stop and the TXL bus stop. Unbelievable convenience. There is a market around the corner to purchase supplies and several ethnic eateries...

Comfortable beds at accor usualy standards. Rooms not big but very warm. Good location near the Ubahn station and some good asiatic restaurants in the area. There are 10 min walk from the train station.

Stayed in November between the beer festival season and the Christmas market season, during local half term. The hotel is in a great location with a tram stop right outside. It's a couple of direct tram stops from the mainline railway station, which in turn has direct bus to and from Tegel airport. The hotel is smart but ordinary. There's...

I spent 3 nights with my husband and 12 year old daughter at this hotel and we were very pleased with the large room they arranged for us. The hotel, bar, breakfast was great and located near the center. I would recommend this hotel!

I was on holiday with my daughter, 9 years old and she and I had a really nice stay. It is a very clean and nice little hotel, close to the U-bahn, museums and parks. The staff is very helpful and the breakfast is good. I would stay here again.

I was disappointed about this Mercure hotel, unfortunately... Small room, tiny bathroom - more like Ibis than Mercure, however, not at price for Ibis. Please, be aware - it's not possible to ask for ironing-board in your room. There is an ironing room on the 4th floor equipped with two very old irons without a single hanger - what's a...

i stayed with my wife in this modern facility which - taking the prize into consideration - was a very good deal. everything you truely need, the elementary particles of a comfortable stay, is here. just that, and only a little more. no fuzz. if you arrive per car, it can be stalled - unlike many other hotels - in...

I was here on a business trip. It is a great hotel with very good breakfast. The only bad thing was that although my company wanted to pay by money transfer and my colleague gave all necessary infos at the booking, they have not registered it and I had to pay with my credit card at check out.

Staff here were very helpful and the location was great if you like to walk. Once you have your bearings from the station all is easy to walk including both sights and food. One thing that let the hotel down was clean rooms. Our bathroom was dirty from the start and did not improve despite mentioning this to staff.

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend trip to Berlin. Location was perfect for sightseeing as it was only a 10 minute walk from the main train station, a u Bahn station and a tram stop right outside. The hotel staff were very friendly and the room was very clean and warm.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
