Just 2 minutes on the M2 tram from Alexanderplatz with access then to all the major sights. You can get tickets for the transport system from the hotel so you don't need change for the ticket machines on the trams. We got the 7 Euro Tageskarte which allowed us unlimited travel on buses, trams and underground all day. Room was... More

We stayed at the Myers hotel for just under a week at the end of November. The hotel is well worth booking. The room is a very nicely size with lovely furnishings. The breakfast is excellent and the staff very friendly. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the centre which was fine. Berlin itself is a great city... More

Our room was beautifully comfortable, spacious, with a superb en-suite (the shower was glorious!). Staff were friendly and the area is very quiet. Not quite central, it is, however, only about 1 or 2km from central attractions; easy to walk but I would recommend going via Schonhauser Allen to get to central areas rather than the very busy and less-pretty... my wife and I had a lovely 3 night stay. Our premium room was cosy and quiet thanks to the silent AC and double windows. The bathroom floor heating was a real treat. location is great for strolling around Prenzlauer Berg with trams and metro close by. breakfast was a great start for the day. Small but with a good... We stayed in Myers hotel for 3 nights in November. The hotel is located in a great spot for getting into Alexanderplatz, and just a couple of minutes walk away from some fantastic bars and restaurants. The room we had was fine, nothing special but everything worked as expected and it was clean. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice... More

Ennis welcomed us by the front desk the first day and was very friendly and informative. Some of the other desk clerks weren't as friendly, but we loved everything about the Myer, nevertheless. I had reserved a room on booking.com that included breakfast and the room also had two bathrooms. It was perfect for my 30 yr. daughter and I.... More

The Myer's Hotel is just perfect. the rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. the breakfast, included in room rate, was really good, you could easily make it brunch. The service was excellent, especially Knute. he went above and beyond to be sure our stay was the best it could be.

I had my hopes up for this hotel based on other reviews and I was not disappointed. This is a very nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood, which is just a few minute walk from a tram stop that takes you to Alexanderplatz, a major commercial and transit hub of formerly East Berlin. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and... More

We loved this hotel. Charming inner courtyard with quirky sculptures and pieces of art; nicely appointed and richly decorated rooms; gracious and pretty breakfast room with a generous selection of buffet items; friendly front desk service (especially Knut and Benjamin - thank you); and a super location in a leafy street just up the road from the buzz of activity... Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
