I was in Berlin for the ITB. This hotel has a spacious rooms, closet, restrooms, good breakfast. Nevertheless, the balcony door was broken and obviously the isolation does not work. The wifi only works in the lobby, so this is a problem.

At €60 a night per person it is cheap but centrally located. The rooms are clean, pleasant and moderately basic - however I had a ground floor room which was set up to sleep 5, and ona seperate occassion a good sized double. So location excellent, value excellent, rooms good but nothing exciting. An excellent base to explore Berlin - but...

I was there two nights while attending company meeting. Pretty simple. Clean. Even Spartan if you wish, but every working well. Breakfast limited in choice not in quantity. Optimally positioned with S-Charlottenburg in 5 mins walk. 130€ . More I could not ask with a short notice reservation.

It was good value has a variety of different rooms and was really convenient for getting to the S_Bahn and Messe (5 minutes on foot to station). It is of course not a luxury place, but it is generally clean and the staff are friendly. One thing that was not so good...the curtains which let in too much light (not...

Very attractive location near Kurfürstendamm, 5 minutes walk from U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations but the closest neigborhood is very quiet. Comfortable, room, very good breakfast with big variety of food - cold and hot. Friendly english speaking staff.

The reason I booked this hotel was the very attractive price, about 45 E/night including breakfast (found on the hotel website). I had room 505, on the top floor, a nice room, with a double bed, not very large, but ample enough for a single person. It was clean and well kept. The only negative side was that it had...

my room was wide and nice but in common areas there was a bad smell of smoke. breakfast is nothing special and hotel's guest are above from Russia it means that hotel is full of people that dress "pigiama" during breakfast. i suggest this hotel above all for location not for charme or other amenities.

Even a low price can't excuse the indifference experienced at this property. The "highlight" was, surprisingly, the breakfast ... too bad we had to try and enjoy against a backdrop of cobwebs and dead, dried-out spiders littering the walls. At least we were able to avoid the overflow seating in the conference room with books and folders scattered on the...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
