This hotel is perfect. Location is great next to checkpoint Charlie, Murphy's Irish pub across the road and taxis arrive in seconds. Potsdamer platz shopping center is about a 15 minute walk. It is spotlessly clean and very modern. Can only recommend.
Clean, comfortable and very warm. Staff were friendly and welcoming, with all of them speaking good English.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
Being close to Checkpoint Charlie, the location served as a poignant reminder of the history of Berlin.

Very nice hotel with really nice clean rooms, well appointed rooms. Staff were friendly and informative. Great bar within the hotel. We explored most of Berlin on foot so this was a great base from which to explore. Would recommend this hotel highly.
Cheap, new, modern, clean. Hotel is very close to everything, Mall of Berlin, Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, Metro Station, restaurants, museums, and shops. I recommend staying at this hotel when visiting Berlin.
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.

My wife and I took the train from Frankfurt to Berlin Hauptbanhof and walked to the Hotel, which wasn't too bad. Lots of sights to see on the walk. However Tegel Airport is quite a distance from the Hotel so either Uber or a taxi will work. The trains can be a bit confusing as there is a city train line and a national train line. To my knowledge there is not a train that will drop you off within a few blocks so you'll have to walk somewhat.
There are a lot of things to see and do within walking distance of the hotel, so that might be the only time you have to pay for a taxi.
There is no parking garage for this hotel, however there are quite a bit of street parking nearby, but it is a touristy area with Checkpoint Charlie on the corner. My wife and I just used a taxi which made it easy.
