Don't be put off by the exterior of this hotel. Inside the hotel is clean and comfortable. the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was plentiful and constantly replenished. Staff on reception spoke excellent English and were helpful.

I have stayed at this hotel for the last two years when I visited the Berlin Christmas Markets. It is a lovely hotel in a fine old-style building centrally located near the Kurfurstendamm and important city amenities with easy transport access to Tegel airport and all city areas. The rooms are very comfortable and compact with the possibility of fine...

Lovely Hotel. Entering an old style frontage with load of character. Reception on 1st floor. Met by Daniel in reception who was extremely helpful. We had a room at the front which was V large and a balcony, albeit it didn't look that safe. We booked early last year and fortunate to get this room. had we done so later...

This hotel was recommended by my brother who has stayed here several times before and we were not disappointed. The hotel is full of character, with large accommodation. Our room 414 was huge with a balcony, and we had a sound nights sleep with no road noise at all. But what made it exceptional was the breakfast - 5 star,...

Me and my boyfriend stayed in this hotel in August 2016 when visiting friends and attending a wedding. The hotel is located in an old building. The reception is not directly at the entrance which might be a little confusing. Hotel room was ok but nothing special, breakfast was also ok. The hotel is pretty close to public transportation stations....

It was a nice old building. Very easy to access to the main shopping street Ku'dam and some of the Christmas markets as well. We found the rooms comfortable, large and full of light with the big windows. Breakfast was also fine.

stayed four nights while attending meeting. older quaint hotel in convenient location, dining choices nearby, and close to bus line and short walk to u-bahn. excellent interactions with staff, who were all very helpful. updated spacious room (little creaky but expected in a "historic" hotel) with comfortable bed and bathroom. would stay again.

This hotel is an older building close to the Kurfürstendamm shopping area. For the location it is pretty good. Rooms are cosy and the bathroom small. The TV is as old as the building itself (didn't know those old TVs still worked). However the hotel is charming and has an atmosphere in keeping with the location. Close to shops, restaurants...

I and a friend stayed here for two nights. We came to Berlin in search of sights and beer so we only used the hotel to get changed in and of course sleep. The hotel is in a great location just a few minutes walk from uhlandstrabe station and the popular Kurfenstendamm shopping street. The hotel itself was more than...

We stayed here three nights in June. The hotel is quite conveniently located, and many (though not all, in a big city like Berlin) tourist attractions are closeby, as are some good bars and cafes. The immediate neighborhood however is not particularly idyllic or have a lot on offer. Our check in was fast and convenient, and the staff is...
