Me and a friend managed to get a cheap deal on Expedia for 2 nights and return flights to Berlin. The hotel had really good reviews and it didn't disappoint! Although around a 15-20 minute taxi drive to the city centre, the hotel itself is clean, staff are friendly, the beds are comfy and the shower is hot! We didn't...

I started off staying in a family room with a friend here then downsized to the smallest single room. Both rooms were spotless and well laid out with efficient heating (important when the weather outside is minus 3!) that could be turned up or down and comfortable mattresses with fresh clean duvets and pillows. The staff were also very helpful...

My dad and myself stayed in this hotel just for one night as we were traveling around. Hotel has a great location. All bars, coffee's, restaurants are around. Staff are great asset to this hotel. Very friendly and polite especially the receptionist with dark hair who checked us in on the 28th of December @ 1pm. She was very professional....

Very clean, quiet, spacious room. Metro located immediately outside as well as another 2 minutes down the road. Some restaurants nearby, isn't the nicest area of Berlin but is a good price and so easy to get to all other parts. Staff reasonably polite and helpful.

This hotel can't be faulted for location, there is a bus stop right outside the entrance and the UBahn station across the road. It was so easy to get to all the attractions from here, we were so surprised how easy it was! Our room was a decent size for two people, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom had...

Just stayed here for 4 nights. Good location, near stations. Great city. We asked for a quiet room which we got. The room was very small for 2 people. It had obviously been a bigger room at one point. However it was clean and functional with comfortable beds. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Went out for breakfast, loads of...

Stayed here for 3 nights 27th-30th November 2016. Good size room. Very quiet. Good value room but breakfast was quite expensive at 12.90 Euro but there is a lovely bakery/coffee shop just across the road & plenty of places to eat near by. The beds were comfortable, the room was very hot (even with the outside temperature at -6), bathroom...

I stood with my boyfriend for 5 nights in the hotel. The room was huge and bright. The windows did a good job, so it was not loud in the night. The heater works very well. Good mattress and comfortable bath room. Breakfast with all you need. We will stay there next time again!

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighbourhood Profile
In 1963, Schöneberg was the centre of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the centre of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
