Staff was really nice and helpful, location is very easy to reach from Tegel Airport and by public transportation. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Found breakfast very expensive (12 euros per person) so didnt have it at the hotel - I walked up to the closest Starbucks.

I am currently staying in this hotel. It is important to note that this hotel don't have camera servilliance and don't take any responsibility for your lost stuff. I lost my laptop bag during the check-in. We checked in a group of 20 and were called one by one for signing. When I shared with staff that my luggage is... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were very helpful and arranged for us to have an early check in after a very early start from the UK. The hotel is in a fantastic location just off the main Kurfurstendamm area. Within easy walking distance of some great shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. A great bus... More

Mercure Hotel Chateau Berlin is right in the middle of what was once West Berlin. It provides good service at a reasonable price. Our room was very nice. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. We didn't have any problems. I don't really care if the hotel is three or four stars. It's well worth its price.... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
