Rooms are small but clean. Good location near Potsdamer platz and in a quiet residential neighborhood. No service from 22.30PM-6.30AM. Very slow wifi, razor thin pillows and not so good quality towels and no mini-fridge or safe. Breakfast selection and quality was allright. Conclusion: OK hotel but overpriced. Normally, I would have given the Fjord hotel a solid three stars...

The hotel is clean and tidy. It is no frills so don't look for a luxury bathtub in the bathroom. The accommodation is basic but comfortable. The rooms are also small, but we didn't spend much time there besides sleeping, so it worked well for us. The location is about a 20 minute walk to some of the tourist attractions...

Dear Melissa, thanks for your feedback! We do have one room the Deluxe 701 with a bathtub in the room and a roof terrace. This gives you a touch of luxury! So maybe for the next stay?! All the best and greetings from Berlin,

Stayed here for two very comfortable nights, room had everything we needed and was an absolute bargain for the price we paid. Everything was clean, plenty of hot water, good wifi, nice and quiet. All the staff we met were extremely friendly and happy to help. Bedding was super comfy and we were given extra pillows straight away when we...

For our 9 day trip to Berlin we wanted a hotel with the equivalent of a king size bed and a friend suggested the Fjord Hotel Berlin. Conveniently located near a bus stop and a metro station, and within walking distance to several tourist destinations, it was a great choice. Our room, while not huge, had a comfortable bed (two...

The rooms are small but adequate. The bed is good. The shower is very small but just about adequate. The breakfast at 12.50 pp is not cheap but very good. The internet was the big disappointment and the hotel during the full 3 days did not manage to fix it.

Hello Henri, thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry for the connection problems with our free Wifi. Unfortunately we had issues with the hardware and also with the internet provider. It was very hard to fix the bug, but it is solved now. Apologies once again and we hope to see you again next time in Berlin. Best...

Really cute modern hotel located in a quiet neighborhood. Rooms were clean & modern. Hotel is conveniently located to Potsdammer Platz and only about in a 10 minute walk to the subway/UBahn. There are several cafes nearby, if you want breakfast or a snack. If you have a car be sure to reserve a parking spot at the hotel, otherwise...

Staff couldn't do enough for you showed u all attractions on a map, was very clean throughout, in a quiet part of the city only 10 min walk from potsdamer platz train station , breakfast was a little over priced for our budget but around the corner is a nice little coffee shop that you can get breakfast at under...

Located somewhat outside the city center, this hotel offers spacious rooms. What I like the most is the all white design which gives a clean, pure feel. Train and bus stations are a few hundred meters walk from the hotel. Bike rental is also available. Staff are helpful and would gladly assist you on any request. There is a playground...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
