The worst hostel I ever stayed in. Dirty Smelly and above all BED BUGS. Not recommendable! Beds are the worst I ever slept on. My friends bed even broke doen in the middle of the night. Despite the very nice location stay far away from this hostel until the fix the shortcomings!

Many of the other reviews are so right. This was booked for me by a company I was contracting for. I arrived very late, expecting to get something to eat - nothing. They said they did not have the booking and tried to charge me again. They were pleasant enough. The reception is only manned until 23:00 - then nothing!...

Group of six girls stayed here. We were in a huge dorm which had only two other occupants- hairy men who sat in their bunks and ate spicy meats day in, day out. They used to watch us- bit creepy. A friend lost her passport and the staff were very unhelpful and rude. We got so desperate to find the...

Upon arrival at this hostel we paid our money as requested at reception and then went up to find our rooms. We had asked and paid for two private double rooms for four people in total. We found that they had given us one double room. When we went back downstairs to ask about our other room the man on...

Berlin is big and if you look properly you will find good places to stay, this is not one of them. The reception is not on the same building as the hostel, wich is located in a quite dangerous part of Berlin, and in a building used also for other purposes. To get in the building the reception gives you...

Disgusting hostel, worst I've ever stayed in. Wierd management who tried to rip us off by paying more than the price we booked for. Everything else in Berlin was booked up so we had to take this, and the huge building was full off empty dorm rooms. We saw no other people during our 5 day stay. Dirty, stinking building...

We had to stay at amadeus hostel because of a booking mix up with another hostel- and at first we thought the reception looked very clean and nice for the price. When we were getting to our room we changed out minds because it looked like a warehouse- impossible to climb 4 flights of stairs and then navigate the million...

Our room was clean, big enough. We had a indoor bathroom for us alone. Reception was nice and helpful. And it´s very central in Berlin. The bad things or not so nice things was: No telephone in our room, breakfast for 6,50 Euro per person each day. And you havn`t a hostel - parkingarea there, You get a Parkingticket for...

Well, where do I start.... After 4 nights at the excellent Baxx Paxx hostel in Mitte, we unfortunately had to look for accomodation elsewhere upon deciding to spend an extra night in Berlin. Amadeus was one of the first (and cheapest) hostels we found. We arrived at the specified check in time (mid-day) to be told that our room wouldn't...

“i have a feeling that there are no good rooms there. but you might get a separate room even if you booked a dormbed, just cos the hostel is soooo big. for sure there are always empty dorm beds.”
