Unfriendly and unhelpful staff, disastrous wifi connection, a distinct lack of plugs or lockers, hidden city taxes and linen charges and outdated key cards that stop working between you using it to enter the bathroom and going back to your bedroom all came together at...More
It was late night and I did not reserve any hostel yet because all hostels were filled. I started to walk for first time in Berlin at night don't know where to go. I saw the sign of the hostel, and go up. The receptionist...More
First of all, get a normal room here. Don't go for the hostel. Every bad review of this place is of the hostel. There are many rooms on the upper floors and they are normal rooms. They are clean, spacious, come with all the amenities....More
I stayed in the doors. The hostel certainly has a unique vibe to it with a film studio like vibe. The dorms are located int he basement in a huge gym like area. It's very dark in there and there are a lot of bunks...More
Stayed in a twin room with privat bathroom. The room was big enough, the bathroom clean. Very cosy. Reception works 24/7 and the stuff is really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great, especially the pancakes. Good location. Would stay there again.

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
Hi, I decided to take a taxi from Schonefield as it was relatively cheap and journey was about 30 minutes. i am not sure about the other airport. The airport had a bus service too which would probably be cheaper.
