Their customer service team acknowledges I am owed a refund for my “free cancellation” booking — cancelled more than nine months before the window closed. Yet despite numerous emails, calls and conversations, it has been more than 5 weeks since I canceled with no refund....More
The location of the hotel is excellent. 10 mins walk from Friedrichstrasse station, 15 mins from the Brandenburg gate, 5 mins from the river, with a great selection of bars/restaurants close by. The hotel is clean and compact - the rooms aren't massive but they're...More
Excellent stay in this hotel that can be found a few minutes walk from Friedrichstrasse Station. We were easily able to walk to the Reichstag and the Brandenburg Gate in under 10 and 15 minutes respectively. The rooms were a tad on the small side...More
This hotel is centrally located, with a good restaurant, serving breakfast and good quality evening meals.
The rooms are spacious and clean, although the bathroom is a little dated. Offers good value for money in Bern where prices are traditionally high.

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.

very easy 7 days a week, express train every 30 mins at worst. get off at Berlin Friedrichstraße and walk over the river for 5 mins up the first street over the bridge and youll be there. Real easy, if you time it right you will be in your hotel less than an hour after you land. Buy tickets in the machine or on the train with the ticket guy. Piece of cake
