Stayed April 2017 in a Family Apartment. Not cheap but good value with very large with two large bedrooms (both with couch, TV etc), Kitchen and Bath. Good location - walking distance to Brandenburg Gate (~10 mins) and easy access to other attractions. Only downside was breakfast which was not so high quality as other hotels and fairly limited selection....

The place is perfect. We had a family suite with a 7 y.o.son, the apartment was huge, very comfortable, we just loved it! Very central, mostly all sights are close by, though it's very safe and peaceful. Very good service, friendly reception and restaurant staff, breakfast is wonderful. All in all, it couldn't have been better! Absolutely recommended

We stayed here after Christmas and it was great. We had the family apartment and it was super spacious and nice. We liked having the washing machine as this was nearing the end of our trip. The breakfast was fine, nothing fancy, and sometimes a bit of a wait to get in since it was a small room. We walked...

This is a hidden gem! Very central, very spacious, big enough for a family of 4! All the main attractions are within walking distance, excellent restaurants just at the end of the street. The breakfast was fantastic and was restocked as soon as it was nearly empty, pleasant staff too. Extremely clean and home from home in the kitchen! I...

Spacious, clean apartment and within easy walking distance to Reichstag and other tourist attractions. No lifts available but we were thankful our apartment was located on the first floor. However it faces office building hence you might need to pull the curtain for more privacy. Reception staff were friendly and helpful! Daily breakfast buffet spread were generous, plus excellent coffee!...

Nice aparthotel in downtown Berlin. Big room very well furnished. Strategical position very close to Reichstag and to all major attractions. Tasty German style breakfast in the morning . Definitely a place to be recommendend. Good to know is that the apartments are on 1st and 2nd floor without elevator. It couldn't be very comfortable with little children.

First ever time to Germany and had a very pleasant experience of Berlin. Arrived at Tegel airport and information desk kindly provided directions via 128 bus then U6 underground to Oranienburger Tor stop . Only cost us 9€ for four of us one way which you have to purchase from a machine outside the airport at the bus stop. Luckily...

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
