This is my first hostel experience and I really enjoyed it. I mainly selected the hostel because I wanted an affordable place to stay while seeing Berlin. It was 19 euros a person per night and worth it. I was in a six bed dorm that was labeled as mixed. I went w my cousin and there were four other...

The place was very cozy, home-looking and the staff very helpful and friendly. The room was very good, stayed there for three days and enjoyed it, but above all the vibe was great, as well as the location. Price was fair.

Value for money, nice and quiet, clean. Did not use the kitchen or the lounge, but bed room was alright. Location is really good, close to Boxhagener Platz. Lot's of fun and nice bars and restaurants around and easy to reach by public transport. Could even park the car in the street of the hostel without problems and for free.

The hostel staff has not been as nice and welcoming as I had hoped. "What do you want?" Breakfast costs 2,5e so not included. Other than this, its a cosy, quiet, clean, equipped place and really handy to rent a bike - Berlin by bike is easy and nice.

This is a cheap, clean, safe, free-wifi, average breakfast and close to Subway station option to stay in Berlin. Although is in a Nice and trendy neighbourhood you need to take the Subway to go to the main turistic atractions (what is not really a problem). There is not much of an "atmosphere" in the hostel since the staff clearly...

I stayed in the U inn Berlin hostel with two friends in July 2015. The staff at the hostel were very friendly and the facilities are very clean and well equipped, especially the kitchen. The hostel is perfectly located right on Frankfurter Allee so there's quite a few places to go for food and drink as well as it being...

We stayed there last year and enjoyed our visit a lot. I remember recommending people to stay downstairs, but this year's stay changed my mind. The weather was not hot at all, but it was too humid, and we had to sleep with the windows open. Normally the insulation helps and once you close the windows, you hear almost nothing.There...

Travelled to Berlin from Amsterdam and stayed in the U inn Berlin hostel. The location is good, close to Frankfurter Allee S bahn which has connections to all over Berlin. The hostel was small and quiet but had a good atmosphere, I made a lot of friends in my dorm and the kitchen was great to cook in. The reception...

This place was really nice, the kitchen was well equipped and the room for 8 of us was quite spacious. The location was quiet and peaceful, however it was quite far from any attractions in the centre of Berlin, making walking everywhere difficult. The staff were really helpful and provided great advice about how to get to places.

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighbourhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
