A modern place with nice apartments. The hallways look like a typical German residential building, not like a hotel. There are two metro stations in walking distance. The breakfast is nice. At the table next to us somebody had several food allergies and they really tried to cater to that person in great detail. The street is somewhat noisy, but...

Great location, 5 min walk from U-bahn. Staff is nice and helpful. I recomend to call first if you are not arriving in check-in time. We arrived about 20:00 and picked keys with password from the safe, next to the entrance. The studio was lovely, everything new and clean. Kirchen was great for making breakfast or late dinner. ( We...

The location is very good, just 200m from the tube station. A disvantage is, there are not any restaurants in the vicinity. The breakfest is good, and the staff is incredible helpful. I had a temperature, and the maid despite the sunday, went to the farmacy to bay me a medicine. It would deserve 5 stars if they had WI-FI....

The apartment has an old and used feeling, and was not very clean, although you have to pay an extra 29 eur for cleaning. We actually had to wash the dishes before the first use. The heating was switched off during the night and the hot-water supply was changing while showering (between burning hot or cold). Also, they ripped us...

My previous review gave these apartments 3 stars. I come here because the price is cheap and it is very conveniently located for where my business is.... just 5 minutes walk. However, even when the cost is low, I expect some minimum standards and I think these apartments fail. A couple of points to note: - the flyer which is...

Not a place for non German speakers. No information and no one to ask if there is a problem. Appartments are very basic, very small tv and not the place to spent lots of time. Only wifi that was available was paid and problems buying it to start with. Shower is one good thing, along with location and access to...

Had a great stay at Berlin Apartments, even if only for 1 night. Needed a place relatively close to the Central Train Station - and the hotel was more than that, only 3 minutes on foot from the subway line U6, which can lead very easily to the main attractions (Museum Island, Berlin Wall, Brandenburg Gate, Ku'damm, etc.). Buffet breakfast...

Just got back from a short stay in Berlin with teenage daughter. The Berlin-Apartments were good value; nothing luxurious but perfectly adequate as we were out most of the time visiting a great city! Some plus and minus points: Plus: - Very convenient for the U-Bahn station at Schwarzkopstrasse (U6 line) as only about 4-5 mins walk. Easy to get...

Spent a week in Berlin and with wife and 2 teenagers. The apartment was easily large enough for the 4 of us - could have possibly taken two more. Minimalist in style but had everything we wanted - not least the wi-fi! The street was off the main drag an had a number of good restaurants (esp Oderquele) and coffee...

These apartments are not expensive so I really did not expect luxury when I arrived. And indeed, the apartments are average. Look at their website - what you see is what you get. My room was very big and the bed was very comfortable but it was very plainly decorated and basically furnished..... but perfectly adequate for a 3-night business...

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.

“If you still want to stay here despite my review, insist on a room at the back of the hotel as they are slightly quieter. When you get into your room, remove the pillow case and duvet cover and check the cleanliness of the pillow and duvet.”
